Mary Quite Contrary....a view of my heaven, my inspiration for current projects and future installations. Sculpture of Tara (Tibetan female counterpart of Chenrizig, the Tibetan name for Avelokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion ) Tibeto-Chinese in style.  Her golden supple body accentuates her mystical energy.  She is the miraculous savior who delivers beings from dangerous situations.  A cluster of flowers and leaves lead to her penetrating eyes. composed of unfurling petas and full blooms, they hint at her ability to understand anyone at any stage of entanglement.
